So when your day is rather busy and tiring, and you're starting to dip in the afternoon, what better way to get a pick-me-up than a colleague offering you a Cadburys Roses or two! One of my closest work colleagues always gets several 5kg tins of Roses each year at Christmas from various people (he's 67). Last years count was 7, while this year was a poor show with only 4! However, even though he is a chocolate-monster he always brings the tins into work and shares them amongst the consultants and those of us he considers good working friends. And since I'm one of his closest colleagues (if you heard us in the lab you'd think we were an old married couple), I get two each time he dishes them out! Yum.
