I was sitting by one instrument, absentmindedly playing with some caps for glass vials, when it came to me that I could use the ten minutes more productively to capture todays picture. So I put the vial caps into a carefully constructed pile and proceeded to try a bit of macro with depth of field. The resulting picture isn't bad. Depth of field is nice and shallow although I feel the focus could have been a bit better. However, practice makes perfect and that's what this project is all about!
