This morning we awoke to the first proper frost of 2012. This winter has been a mild one so far compared to the winter of 2010/11 but I'm not holding my breath. It could go either way. So today's picture is a macro shot of the remaining frost on some garden leaves. We have quite a sheltered back garden so a lot of the bushes/plants we have are saved from the most severe of frosts. The picture has quite a nice shallow depth of field with a little touching up carried out to boost the brightness, contrast and the saturation as well.
